Hi,
March is just around the corner and so is spring. I hope you’ve got great plans for the weekend. Depending on when you’re reading this, it’s 5:00 somewhere, so grab the beverage of your choice and enjoy these stories to fuel the business leader in you:
- Remember this story I covered last autumn about UK companies testing the 4-day work week? Well, the test is done, the results are in, and overall, the 4-day work week wins. Lots of details, check out these sources for more:

🌟 Charity Navigator 🌟
When you’re considering donating to a not-for-profit, how do you investigate their track record for managing their funds? We use Charity Navigator, a research platform that provides lots of data and info on organizations and also enables searching by category if you want to support a cause but don’t have a particular organization in mind. Let’s lend a hand and support them, too: Charity Navigator.

Lead with Equity
Lead with Equity’s mission is to help leaders make space for historically marginalized people to drive change in organizations. Managing people can be a difficult task, and they believe inclusive leaders create the most effective teams.
Lead with Equity has developed a Leadership Assessment with input from research, clients, and managers, to help leaders analyze their behaviors. Through real-life work scenarios, the Assessment will help managers see how their actions foster inclusion, equity, and diversity in the workplace.
The Assessment is free and confidential and takes about 10-15 minutes to complete. Here’s a link to use to take the Assessment. (Be patient, it may load slowly.)
- More on the great rewirement (love “rewirement” from Michael Clinton), via The Wall Street Journal. Good-bye 40-year career, hello earning through work into our 70’s.
- So often helping others starts with curiosity. I love this story about hotel soap from Freakonomics.
- Kelly Main from talks about trading time management for time minimalism. Interesting concept, what do you think?
Okay, that’s it for now. I hope you enjoyed this issue and stay tuned for next week’s coming out on Thursday, March 2.
