Hello!

What’s this? You’re ready for the digital marketing scoop. Well, here it is!

SEO & SAIO

  • Remember how GenAI seemed to burst onto the scene in just a couple of years? Emarketer produced a forecast showing that the burst represented a 900% rise from 2022 to 2023. But then, it shows how that growth has flattened over the past year and attributes the slowdown to users’ assessing the technology’s potential and limitations. Still, GenAI users are expected to exceed 100 million this year.

DBE Perspective 💬

Over 1 billion Google searches daily show AI Overviews, and hundreds of millions of users are using AI platforms like Bing Copilot and ChatGPT. Search AI Optimization (SAIO) strategies can help businesses thrive in this new environment. Learn more in our latest blog: With AI Overviews Appearing Less Often, SAIO Is Still Very Much “Worth It.

Digital Marketing

  • Sprout Social’s Social Media Productivity Report is out with some interesting findings. Here’s the long version, the short version, and the mini version:
    • 48% of SMM surveyed felt they don’t have enough time to get all their work finished.
    • SMMs indicated Instagram and Facebook as the two platforms used most frequently.
    • 63% of social media marketers say that manual tasks prevent them from doing high-impact work.
  • LinkedIn released Premium Company Pages just a few days ago. What are you paying for: Custom CTA Button, Who’s Visited My Page, custom testimonials, credibility highlights, AI-powered post writing assistance, and (what I’d say is the coolest part) the auto invites for content-engagers to follow your page. Note that this is separate from other LinkedIn subscriptions like a Premium personal account.

Thoughts to Take With You… 💞

Here’s a hard-hitting quote from Brianna Wiest’s The Mountain is You.

“Everything in nature is imperfect, and it is because of that imperfection that growth is possible. If everything existed in uniformity, the gravity that created the stars and planets and everything that we know would not exist. Without breaks, faults, and gaps, nothing could grow and nothing would become. The fact that you are imperfect is not a sign that you have failed; it is a sign that you are human, and more importantly, it is a sign that you still have more potential within you.”

Best Wishes,

Natalie
