Are you ready for Labor Day weekend? We are! As a reminder, DBE is closed Friday August 30 through Monday, September 2. Everyone is back on Tuesday, September 3.
- Marc Engelsman is not back for long though–on the 4th, he’s in DC speaking at Digital Summit. His presentation borrows from the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and turns its principles into insights for analytics pros. You can learn more here.
- What’s this? YouTube is going to stop running ads that target kids? Yep, here’s the story.
- And Facebook is helping us see which apps and websites are tracking us? That’s cool, here’s the detail.
Do Good Spotlight: McCarter Theater
McCarter is a world-class theater, presenting top notch performances for the engagement, education, and entertainment of the surrounding community. The shows are stimulating, diverse, and, thought-provoking. An independent, non-profit regional theater, McCarter is in the heart of the new Princeton University Arts District and provides programs all over Princeton, Trenton, and throughout central New Jersey. As with all of our Do Good Spotlight organizations, we donated to this organization and invite you to consider donating to McCarter or a theater in your community.
- Starbucks designers give a transparent view into their creative process with their new, public, brand guidelines website. Mark Wilson wrote a review for Fast Company and the DBE team is talking about the creative approach as well as the transparency, which our clients know we love, love, love! Here’s the Fast Company piece that contains the link to the Starbucks creative site.
I hope the rest of the week and the rest of the summer are just what you want them to be. Enjoy!
